I guess it's legal, but not legit, so up to you if you want to use it. For peace of mind, you can wait until pokebank comes out, but that won't tell you anything about how legit it is, only if it's legal.

I really want to complete the pokedex this time around, because there's a lot less than usual (since there's only a regional dex). I'm at 49% but I haven't really dedicated any time to it yet.

I got a shiny Eevee after about 20 eggs which was really lucky. Then I got a shiny alolan grimer while EV training. I also found a shiny yungoos, but I KO'ed by accident because I wasn't paying attention lol. I don't even have a shiny charm. Finally, I got some shinies from wonder trade, but...

I also liked Hau a lot as a rival! His optimism and enthusiasm were really refreshing. I think he and Lillie balanced each other out, since their personalities complemented each other really well.

I leveled everyone to 60, just to be on the safe side and it was a breeze: Decidueye Mimikyu Toucannon A-Raichu Mudsdale Salazzle

For the most part, I'm happy with the customization choices. Especially the hair! I love my pink brown pigtails. I do think X&Y had prettier clothes overall though, and I'm a bit disappointed there are no dresses at all this time around (unless I missed them?)

The final form's grass/ghost typing sealed the deal for me! I'm definitely getting Rowlet as my starter :D

I started thinking about it, and I already have some vague idea (I want to nickname my Rockruff Rough for example), but actually going by a theme this time would be nice! Maybe I'll use song names, I'll just have to go through my youtube playlists for inspiration ^^

I just restarted X with pokemon I have never had on my team in any previous games. So, I transferred from AS a pichu, a hitmontop, and a snorunt to start me off. I also picked Fennekin as a starter, which I would never really have considered before. Loving it so far!

Thank you for your responses, everyone! It was interesting to read everyone's perspective :) There's also the time factor I hadn't given much thought to, but since I tend to play in the evening, Moon sounds better. I think I'll wait a tiny bit more before pre-ordering, maybe there will be more...

So, I'm planning to pre-order Sun OR Moon soon, but I really don't know which one to get anymore. I guess a lot of people pre-order both versions, but I can only really afford one right now. I was very set on Moon because of the legendary, but I prefer the version exclusives of Sun much more...

Kyogre is my favourite legendary (I love whales!), so I bought Alpha Sapphire. I don't think I'll get Omega Ruby, since the two are so similar..I'd rather invest in a game from a completely different generation for example.
