    What came first: Arceus or Mew?

    I have been confused too. There are theories saying Arceus was created by a past generation, so when the world ended it could hatch from the egg and recreate it. However, this theory is totally contradicted with the idea that Mew is the ancestor of all Pokemon. I think Arceus is the Pokemon god...
