I personally don't mind if shiny Pokemon become easier to find or not, after all I have only ever caught on shiny in Emerald (surskit). I also think that shiny Pokemon look worse than the normal coloured Pokemon. We'll just have to see when the shiny hunters set ou to catch them.

I tend to use the speed up button alot, like i never stop holding it, but I wouldn't consider it cheating. Like everyone has stated above it only speeds up the process of tedious things like grinding against wild Pokemon.

I do love playing gen1-3 on an emulator as its a great way to play the older games that you may have never played, the speed up button helps too :) The emulators for the GBA games are alot better than any of the DS emulators I have tried and I still think that you cant beat holding the console...

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'm loving the place so far :) As for my interests then Emulation all the way, its a great way to play all the old classics that may have been mis-place over the years. I still shed tears. Well I can be regular, about 37.4% of the time. Given an opportunity...
