lol i guess mister grass-lover isn't as dedicated as he would like you to think. swampert over sceptile? Just kidding. but onto your argument. it is true that swampert is a strong water type w/lots of hp and immunity to electric. basically, he fits into the group of "bulky waters". although...

3rd Gen Strongest pokemon up to R/S/E

Although shanecdavis makes a great argument defending snorlax, i still believe that heracross is a better pokemon. for well-roundedness, snorlax's moveset that you suggest only has 2 types of attacks: one normal (body slam/return) and then one optional for which you give three different typed...

3rd Gen Strongest pokemon up to R/S/E

Just saying that shanecdavis is right. this thread is for pokemon up to R/S/E, which means only items and moves up to R/S/E as well. Also, the only great argument i've seen so far defending a pokemon is by shanecdavis, although i don't really understand the whole "two turn stalling advantage...

3rd Gen Strongest pokemon up to R/S/E

Ok here are the rules for these posts. 1. You have to present a pokemon, not including ubers or legendaries, and defend it as the strongest pokemon in the game up to R/S/E. 2. A moveset is required, with an explanation, and a hold item. EV training is not required, but it would probably help you...

    Ur lucky pokemon?

My favorite pokemon ever is Heracross. And not only is he my favorite, i think that you could make a good case for it being the best pokemon up to R/S/E. w/STAB Megahorn (180 ATK), STAB Reversal, Endure, and Rock Slide to get rid of flying types, as well as great attack and decent speed stats...

    3rd Gen Competitive Battle Berries?

Ok for competitive battling i've been seeing lots of berries that are used as hold items to boost attack/speed/defense or whatever when you get below 25% health, like Salac berry. also things like Lum berry which heal status conditions. where would you get those in Emerald? Thanks.

    What's your favourite Pokémon?

If Heracross isn't the best pokemon ever, i don't know what is. My current Heracross is lvl 55 w/Endure, Reversal (STAB), Megahorn (STAB), and Rock Slide. The best ever.

3rd Gen Newbie in Ruby - Discussion On Starting Pokemon.

Eh, i actually like all three. Here's why. Treecko: personally, i am never able to beat the seventh gym when i get there. it's like, easy gym, easy gym, easy gym, BAM! and so then i evolve my grovyle into sceptile and get him leaf blade. and i beat them. but sceptile is a very strong...
