Agreed. For promotional imagery depicting the creator's original work, it's perfectly fine to save in a not-incredibly-highly-compressed, small-size JPEG. Resources that are meant to be shared should of course be shared via PNG format.

Your best luck will be with tearing down the original RPG Maker XP script structure and completely rebuilding. Make sure you understand all the definitions so you can create your own, though.

I'd go over that plot again, just to make it more readable than it currently is. The way it's written right now, it's not easy to understand everything you plan to do.
