The addition of the NPC who can turn your Pokemon shiny is very cool. While I don't know how you plan to implement it, it could be a nice change from the vast majority of other fan games that make getting a shiny a real pain in the butt. Some people just want a PINK wooper without all the HASSLE

I'm actually not sure how to open the ips, I've never hacked before! So if you could just tell me how to open the ips to view the text, if that's even possible, that would be a start. I have absolutely zero idea how to hack or access a rom/ips file but I'm willing to learn :)

I got it, I used No$GBA instead. If changing the save type doesn't work for anyone having this issue, I'd recommend changing emulators. BTW, is Discovery dead? :( It really is a cool game so far.
