Although Pokémon is targeted mostly for the young audience, I have to agree with most of the replies on this thread. A game as the style of Pokémon can be enjoyed by those of all ages, and it doesn't make you an immature person and, well, probably it even makes you more mature than some of those...
According to other sites, the Pokémon Transfer app is a separate app and will be free for those who wish to use it, and even if it was not, you (or we) could always use the trial period of Pokémon Bank to get things done quickly.
I am pretty much on the side of those that wish for 3rd Generation Remakes more than sequels or third games, as I am pretty sure that I would probably focus more interest in the 3DS with a remake of that generation that right now with X and Y. I have interest in X and Y, I just don't focus to...
Excluding the Red Gyrados, I have just found two Shiny Pokémon to date, maybe because I don't play that much (yet I plan to start playing more often again in the near future). I can't remember witch one I caught, as I was jsut able to catch the second one that appeared.

I never got rid of it. I always liked how Pikachu kept walking behind you all the time, and when I discovered you could box him and he disappeared I just kept missing it, so it was in my team all the time, yet was the weakest Pokémon of the team.
I think the 5th Generation will just low it's popularity in the online tools, as even today its already hard to find a battle sometimes (or maybe it's just me) but as for the games, I believe that they will probably still be played by a part of the Pokémon Fans, as it was actually an important...
