I have a question about the scripts. I was scrolling through them indexing which ones i found to be important. Do you plan on making them editable or are they already and i have yet to uncover how to do so?
Being closed source is not relevant because running an external exe is an operating system process. I would also look into doing functionality like this just like real programming IDE's do. Save the code or changed textres/models in this case and then dump them back into the rom during the save...
Whenever i walk in my emerald and ruby version the grass turns a darker shade of green, when i stop walking it turns back to the original color.
