Been there. I found the badge shining a few days after I started playing Pearl. I did just recent find something I didn't know about. While playing Platinum I found that I could rearrange the order of a Pokemon's attacks! I talked w/ some of my friends and they've know about it for a while -_-...

I wouldn't say a walkthrough ruins the game, but (for me) it does take some of the challenge out of the game. One of the main reasons I play games like this is for the little puzzles you need to solve along the way. In a couple of different pokemon games I've had to draw maps to figure out how...

I'd choose Solaceon for the very same reasons (silly or not). Plus Solaceon has the ruins nearby and that spooky pokemon tower. <-: Jubilife would be me second choice. For the GTS mostly.

I haven't trained a Tropius since sapphire. I guess I choose Staravia/Staraptor.

I've found that the swarm pokemon for the day can be a little easier to chain, so if you just want any shiney, maybe try chaining the swarm pokemon

There's all sorts of little UI improvements. The new grass is cool. Everything is cool. I'm about 4hrs in and loving every minute of it. ^.^ Bring on the Torn World! - I can hardly wait to check it out

I had the exact same reaction. I told a friend (he was sitting next to me, playing his own game) and he laughed too (he's a Magicarp hater). Hmmmm, level 6 (I think) Magikarp vs level 15 Turtwig, who will be the winner..? I can't envision any scenario in which the Magicarp could possibly win.

You should find an entrance to Mt. Coronet. West of Celestic Town. There's nothing to do in the Ruins.

I'm planning to use Pearl as a parking lot (an extra PC to store pokemon in) and breeding ground to supply pokemon to Platinum.

I've got a Kyogre I'd trade for Groudon

Going to get a TRU Regigigas (or 2). I've been planning a low level team to xfer over to Platinum. More work to do there.
