See I would check but I can't wait 24 hours to EV train my Ho Oh. Using EV dropping berries to get rid of everything but the Atk and Sp Atk EVs.

IVs and EVs have nothing to do with shininess. It's random. Completely random. The only thing that can help make the chances go up is using a foreign Pokemon and an American Pokemon, this is called the Masuda Method.

Question: If I move time forward on my DS will my berries be grown or paused for 24 hours?
