It was a cute feature. In this instance, it makes sense to have omitted it due to the effort that would've been involved.

Platinum was a way better game and it's lazy and unfortunate that GameFreak didn't decide to implement Platinum features like the Distortion World or Battle Frontier.

I wish the Game Corner converted Arcade in Celadon City had playable Arcade games- perhaps the surfing pikachu minigame from Yellow, or the Stadium minigames. Feels like a huge missed opportunity to me.

Nope, Pikachu is one of the core protagonists of the show, making it a Raichu would diminish its defining personality.

I really appreciate the Pokemon subs for the voice acting and the original OST. Though using the original OST in the dub is better now than when 4Kids was dubbing the show.

Brock is my favorite, I always appreciated his wise attitude, and his caring for Pokemon. Plus, his crushes on girls are pretty funny too (though that schtick did get old after a while...)

I'm a big fan of GSC's Pokemon, even if some of that opinion is based on nostalgia, GSC introduced many of my favorites like Tyranitar, Skarmory, Houndoom, and the legendary beasts to name a few.
