Personally, I'm thinking that Scarlet and Violet look awesome. While I normally notice a very Star Trek-esque pattern where I prefer the even-numbered gens to the odd-numbered ones (with Gen 5 being the only exception for me), this looks like it might be another exception.
I guess if there's something good I can say about my least favorite gen, it's that Game Freak made an attempt to shake up the formula by replacing gyms with trials.
My second least-favorite gen was also the one to completely overhaul stats and introduce features like natures and abilities.
