Definitely not initially, for me it was until several DP episodes in before I could get used to it. That's like to me when they changed Ash's animation between DP and BW it didn't take long, but it was still something that took a little bit to grasp and get used to.

As Aerilyn said already they more or less covered Poke Star Studios when Ash & Co. made the movie with Luke about being Space Fighters facing off against the Tyrantiar Mecha. So they kind of already covered that, but I could see more episodes featuring Luke as he is a reoccurring character. Also...
