    Substitute Counter?

    The other day I was battling a guy with poison heal (some how he could poison his own Pokemon) he basically was spamming substitute and attacking me, with his poison heal (plus protect) to keep his health sustainable. Is there anyway I can counter this? Because I couldn't find a way to beat him.
