Misty can snap back at any time. Sorry to sound sexist, but that's just how females are (as far as every tsundere writer is concerned), especially when it comes to anime, especially when it comes to tsundere, especially those with nasty tempers. So far, I've gotten nothing but more bad blood...

Either way, anything said about Ash is past-tense and no konger applies. Therefore we no longer need another Misty arch-type, especially not in Serena. We also don't need Ash to lose anymore conferences. None of those things from the past call for any retribution.
