you have a few ways. Use dusk balls, since you are in a cave its effect should be maximum. You can also send out a slow pokemon and use fast balls on it. I did this with mewtwo and I caught it with my first one. Also try to cripple it. Paralyze, sleep etc

I'm trying to get a gible for my new team to beat red but can you abuse the ds clock to get the 100 days or do I need to have patience and keep training in the meanwhile.

Choose the fastest way. If you want to EV it you should take that into consideration. But where are you exactly in the game. If it's for the league you could train around the safari zone on the waterfall (it has Milktanks that give 1000 XP each)

Also a nice place to train would be the grass south of the safari zone. The levels don't seem that high but a tauros there gives around 600 XP a time.

don't know if I should mention it here but since I can't find a place to do it otherwise. Could I find someone to help me evolve my Electrabuzz into a Electravire? I already have the item equipped it's just a trade to someone and then back.

I took down clefairy with my kanghaskan (which I'm not using anymore). Then came milktank. I switched out to my intimidate growlithe. Then I constantly switched out and brought growlithe back in untill his attack power wasn't a threath anymore. Also I kept using leer with my crocknaw in between...

yeah it helped. I didn't know it could learn those moves through the move relearner. I thought it only learned the starting moves.

I've got a growlithe of lv 35. It already has Flamethrower. Should I evolve it or should I let it learn Heat Wave or Flare Blitz first. Even though it won't learn extremespeed as an arcenine then.
