its ok, i have found a way around it, for future reference if anyone has this problem completley skip diving and surf down to route 128, then dive down on route 128 and re-surface, when you resurface, for a split second the mist will disappear so you can vaguely see the entrance to the sea floor...

Ok thanks, is there anyway to navigate through the mist so i can battle the trainers and collect the items? or will i just have to skip it or do it blind?

Does anyone know why on pokemon emerald when i dive underwater all i can see is myself with bubbles surrounded by thick mist? I had the same problem with the lavaridge gym and mount pyre but i found a walkthrough which told me the exact steps to take so i overcame those problems yet this is...
