You could always give it to him, so he can get the flower and then trade him a different one. =o
I can give you a legit level 30 shaymin that you can give to him.

If the hacked one has all of the info that the Japanese shaymin has (minus the classic ribbon of course) then it will unlock the flower. =)

All of the event shaymins have classic ribbons. There are some legit level 30 shaymins from the Japanese platinum event, but if you have any that are in cherish balls (from GTS) and are from some sort of event, they are hacked. =( I know there are some hacked movie11 shaymins floating around on GTS.
