ablahblah987, earlier in this post(don't remember who) helpfully posted that if you search enough with the chance for a hoenn pokemon(don't remember where) you can find a Wailmer eventually learning whirlpool if you don't like a clamperl

I'm guessing you should get a new ROM, but, the bright side is you could get lot's of experience points with the cooltrainer couple!
