So I'm getting really irritated with the Ecruteak move tutor. I'm trying to teach my Tentacruel Substitute and Swords Dance, but he randomly keeps suggesting bad moves (Rage, Bide, Skull Bash, etc.). Mind revealing how I can get him to teach my pokemon the moves that I actually WANT him to...
With the changes in how often shiny pokemon appear (1/256), were there any changes to the breeding aspects of it? I remember back in G/S/C, the odds of hatching a shiny pokemon while breeding with a shiny ditto was about 1/64. Has that been altered to a lower amount as well?
Could I get a detailed explanation as to how the Ecruteak City move tutor works? It said "variety of moves", but he's only offered to teach my Slowbro for example one move (Psywave and only Psywave).
Would you consider this hack better than Complex Crystal? I've only played that version, but there were a lot of bugs. I do love that there was so much time and research put into this game. Big fan of G/S/C Rom hacks.
EDIT: Also, looking back on one of your older videos of this ROM hack...
^ It's in your item slot. It's marked as "Basement key x1". It can still be used to open the door. Be warned as the item can be sold/dropped/etc. so I wouldn't recommend tampering with it.
Also, I've noticed in a few spots that certain trainers and wild pokemon haven't gotten their levels...
