If you're still struggling with the intro sprites I could help; I did a sprite swap in a previous version of my hack, swapping Oak for EEVEE, and it worked out great.

I enjoyed playing/watching various Pokemon rom hacks, and was impressed by all the hard work people put into them; so, as a thank you to other rom hackers, I decided to also give it a shot myself.

Do I need to use a Hex Editor to locate the above code? I was trying to find it in Hex Workshop but it doesn't find it when I searched; I've never used Hex Editors so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks for this suggestion :) I can now open my EEVEELUTION hack in the program, and modify the respective Pokemon ♥

My favourite character is Leo (Wes); his character stands out from other protagonists by having a more rebellious attitude, and although he's always accompanied by Mirei (Rui) he seems to be a "lone wolf". On the topic of age, he's 17 years old in Colosseum.
