White 2 Infernal Parade Final Update
Whew managed to finish up this one in time, let's write the summary quick~
Overall it was a really fun run, I enjoyed strategizing for upcoming battles and seeing how the events unfolded. The team itself was really strong so even when my plan feel through...
Bit of a preface before the sign-up: I thought long and hard about attempting the challenge as intended but then I realized that while building a theoretical 'trash' team was fun, I wouldn't really care to complete a run with it. So I thought, how could I put a spin on this challenge to make it...
Couple quick questions:
1. If I were to use a specific Rotom form (for the whole run), can I hack it in in that form already at the start or would I have to wait until later in the game when you gain the ability to do so?
2. Does losing in Battle Subway/PWT count as a full team wipe for negative...
I've been craving a SwSh playthrough, let's give it a shot.

Pokemon Platinum Game Mastery - Electric
Oh would you look at that, more progress on that nearly a year after. Hopefully I can finish a couple more of those before I move on to other things again 😁
Overall it was a fun little run. In hindsight I should've gotten Jolteon for the faster E4...
I would personally consider that cheating. In similar vein what prevents you from hacking in other things that theoretically take a long time but are still possible like getting Heracross/Muchlax on your platinum team, maxing out happiness at any time or even stuff like getting your pokemon up...
Pokemon Platinum Game Mastery - Fire
Despite the rough start of failing the first rival battle (hence Infernape's nickname), the playthrough was very smooth up until E4. Bertha gave me slight trouble, so I popped all the Rare Candies early (usually I save them until just before the champion's...
Oh look a bulk update because I'm too lazy to write them out as I complete the runs
Pokemon Platinum Game Mastery - Normal and Ground
Normal
Finished that one a while ago, I don't remember much about the run aside from it being very fun

Wrapped this one up...
It's really not that bad, especially if you can use the speed up function, I've done it many times in various scenarios. Also you don't have to do it more than once if you just keep on struggling as long as you keep a steady supply of potions (that's actually a decent strategy in some solo runs...
You can get past early game with Ralts, all you need to do is get rid of all your move PP (preferably on other wild pokemon before an upcoming battle) so you get down to struggle. It's a typeless move so you can use it to deal with dark types. You'll gain a lot of levels during the process so...
tbh I wasn't enjoying it as much in the end because of the restrictions making the run annoying rather than challenging (Mr. Mime having to waste a turn, Beedrill being nigh unusable for most of the run and Ledian being usable for like one turn per battle due to flying/steel restriction clash)...
So that never happened, I guess now is the best time to do that run
