    Lol man, it's easy as ABC. You don't try to level bug pokemon in a bug-populated area (i.e. Viridian Forest) - Bug is weak against bug remember? Just do it in Route 22, or Route 2 if you're scared of an occasional Peck from the Spearows in 22.
