Lead Zeppelin

I live in the Texas region of the United States and live your average life. I prefer 70s-90s music, with Pink Floyd, ACDC, Led Zeppelin, and GnR being some of my favorite bands. (Not saying I know every song/album/performance, I just have enjoyed what I've heard so far.)
I'm technically a genwunner (played Pokémon Blue and caught some pokémons, and have the first three movies [and first few episodes] on VHS) , but I became invested in Pokémon during gen. 4 with the introduction of Platinum. I've logged 500+ hours on that specific game card without restarting. I've played through Pokémon Heartgold four times, played through Pokémon White, and played a little of all the gen. 3 games.
I've cleared the Elite 4 and champion 50+ times, and have the ability to carry a full team of level 100 pokémon with swap outs. Though I don't play on a competitive level, mostly due to the lack of a battle server for D/P/Pt. I'm not the most advanced of players, and cannot create teams very well. I make sure to have the powerful moves to counter you amongst my team, however, I'm not very tactful in team composition. I'll bring a diverse team, but I doubt I'll hold up against someone that has a strategic team. (Tanks, sweepers, Jack of all trades; master of none, etc.) I'm currently trying to look into the deeper mechanics of the game in an attempt to become a "pro battler." Hopefully I'll be getting X/Y or S/M to get a game with the ability to battle others with my team. I don't have a gauge for my skill, so I don't really know how I fare in the scheme of things.
