maybe i just have to restart everything over and start fresh and delete my .sgm file. and can this file save in the game with the .sav file or does it just run with the .sgm file??

yeah, i am on the 1.0. i will try to find a different version also to see if its the fireRED rom that is the problem.

i am using VBA, visual boy advance. and i am not sure how to check if my rom is a 1.0 or a 1.1. but i could tell you that i got it from coolROM.com.

yeah, i think there is still a minor glitch when you go back to professor oak's lab and it does a flash back. i was teleported there and was not able to do anything. Does it have to do with the fact that the bonus chapter of zap zap zapdos was not played?

i just recently downloaded and patch beta 5 on top of my current glaze file, and now it is freezing on me whenever i encounter a battle with a trainer and i could not go through the bike trail to get to celadon city. was i suppose to patch to a new fireRed rom??..please help
