No, it lets me give it to him. It just only seems to raise his stat about 1 point every 3 iron i give him.

Oh, I mistyped. I want the iron to raise his defense cause I want Hitmonchan. Why isn't it raising his defense score?

I get that, but I don't understand why the iron doesn't seem to be raising his attack stat.

How exactly does iron work? I've been giving iron to my Tyrogue to ensure it evolves into Hitmonchan, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything at all.

Well, its just for a fun team that I'd use against friends and stuff. My team for serious competition is on Emerald, though I can't decide what to put in the last spot.

Anybody got suggestions for a moveset for an Eevee thats gonna stay an Eevee? My eeveelution team needs and Eevee for a full six, and I'm working on that right now since I can't get Umbreon or Espeon until I gank some jerk's gameboy for a few minutes to do some trading.

As you might have been able to tell from my avatar, I'm a big Flareon fan. I think it looks coolest out of all of the eeveelutions, and I like his combination of offensive stats.

You need the national dex, and the firered or leafgreen that you're trading from needs to have the national dex and have completed the network machine.

Vaporeon's attack score is a little low for quick attack, so I might go with something like Hydro Pump which it'll learn at 52, or something defensive, like Haze or Acid Armor. Those are all learned naturally, and there are plenty of good TM's.

If my Aipom uses attract and then baton passes to someone else, does the attraction stay?
