I noticed that the download link in my old nameless sprite editor 2.x thread is dead. The thread has been closed for nearly half a decade now, but is there anyway I can upload an attachment? - no one likes dead links :) Thanks!

PNG to in game sprite in 3 steps

You can also swap (and switch) palette colors in NSE by right-clicking another color in the palette window. "Swap," (as shown above) simply changes the palette while "Switch" also conserves the original image. Nice tutorial btw.

Tool: [Release] AdvanceMap 1.95 Open Beta

Personally, I'm exited to see the source code - as I'm sure many others are - and think that releasing it would be great for the community. I still remember the excitement of using advance map for the first time. Best of luck in whatever you go on to do lu-ho. Thank you

Tool: XEH [A Library For Your Hacking Tool]

Alright, good to see someone working on a ROM hacking library. There are, however, a few issues I feel you MUST realize before you continue too much farther. - You're making the same mistake I made: reading data as a hexadecimal string. Not only is this inefficient ( it doubles the size of the...

The plan is for the engine to be made opensource after the game is released, but that, unfortunately, may never happen as I find my self having less and less time to work. Is there anything you can tell me about these sites you're working on, or are they both heavily guarded?

Unfortunately the engine is not for Pokemon, as it is designed for 3D; although it could possibly be used to make a Pokemon Colosseum-esque game. Ironically though, some of the first test-models I used were maps that were ripped from Diamond :) Actually, I've had an idea for this game for some...

I've been fine, really; just buried in school work - It's becoming very hard to find the time to work on any of my hobby projects, which is kind of disappointing. - I'm in the process of writing a new game engine in C++ and DX11 Now, how have you been? Anything cool/amazing going on or in the...
