PNG to in game sprite in 3 steps

You can also swap (and switch) palette colors in NSE by right-clicking another color in the palette window. "Swap," (as shown above) simply changes the palette while "Switch" also conserves the original image. Nice tutorial btw.

Tool: [Release] AdvanceMap 1.95 Open Beta

Personally, I'm exited to see the source code - as I'm sure many others are - and think that releasing it would be great for the community. I still remember the excitement of using advance map for the first time. Best of luck in whatever you go on to do lu-ho. Thank you

Tool: XEH [A Library For Your Hacking Tool]

Alright, good to see someone working on a ROM hacking library. There are, however, a few issues I feel you MUST realize before you continue too much farther. - You're making the same mistake I made: reading data as a hexadecimal string. Not only is this inefficient ( it doubles the size of the...

    Tool: Nameless Sprite Editor 2.X

I should mention that NSE has been completely moved to Codeplex. All updates from now on will point to the Codeplex downloads page. I've been very busy but I'll try to get some work on NSE done. For one, I've been meaning to implement a "Recycle Bin" feature that would: - Graphically show data...

    Python Pokemon!

Yeah! More progress! Looking good. Don't you just love the whole Magenta transparency thing, lol Can you use 32bpp alpha blending? (not that you may ever need it) Programming interfaces is always fun, so many different scenarios you have to consider :P As always, keep up the good work!

[ARCHIVE] Simple Questions (SEARCH BEFORE ASKING A QUESTION)

Yeah, you could use NSE 2.X, but it'd be difficult, because I never released / finished the OW plugin :P For now you can still use NSE [classic]. Although it's older, it should do everything you want an OW editor to do... that is until I get the OW plugin for NSE 2.X worked out
