I also love the Mystery Dungeon and Ranger series.
Fangames I'm currently playing:
- Pokemon Rejuvenation (NUMBER 1 FANGAME, NOTHING ELSE BEATS IT): With highly compelling plot, characters, three gender, and (more than??) six appearance options, this is definitely the first I'd recommend to anybody. Ongoing.
- Pokemon Insurgence: A good plot, but it's main allure is collecting regional variants, known in this game as Delta Species Pokemon and it also has custom Mega Evolutions. It's also complete.
- Pokemon Reborn: From what I know, the Grandfather of all Pokemon fangames. While the characters are dynamic, the plot is a little slow, but still good. Also has 3 gender options, and 6 appearance options. Ongoing.
- Pokemon Empyrean: A game with an engaging storyline, it's definitely up there for me. It also has Fakemon as well as regional variants, and custom Mega Evolutions. Two gender options, but you can choose from five skin tones. Ongoing.
