Got a question about gen V. Is it possible to get or trade in a poison type before the first gym. Hacking is out of the question since I'm not using an emulator. If i cant get a poison type without hacking can someone tell me what types are available for Ultimate runs without hacking in pokemon?

Nvm just read the notice but I have indeed completed shield with a mono-ice run, so i will add it to my list of completed games for my ultimate Ice run if that is allright.

Just a question. I've Just completed a mono-ice type run of pokemon shield. No legendaries. Would I have to do a separate playthrough for my ultimate ice run all generations, or could this run count?

I'm guessing you're excluding gen 6 for some reason but I always thought you could get the fossil pokemon before gym 2. Or am I wrong on that point?
