Once I found out that some group was planning on flooding the Wonder Trade with Omanyte and Omastar in celebration of the anniversary of TPP, so in response I got a bunch of my friends to help me do the same with Kabuto and Kabutops. I got maybe 8 or 9 Lord Helixs for my Master Domes, but I also...
When it comes to creative Pokemon designs, I don't think Game Freak is running out of ideas. It's more that Game Freak realized after Gen 5 that sometimes, less is more. Look at the Pokemon designs from Gen 6 and 7 and compare them to the designs from Gen 5. While Gen 5 had a lot of good...
Okay, I think I'm an odd case here. I started Pokemon sometime between the end of Gen II and the start of Gen III. I think it was a couple years before Ruby and Sapphire were released. My cousin gave me a disc with a ton of emulators and ROMs, and it included all of the main series Pokemon games...
Ugh. Of course the Summer Sale happens at the exact time that I happen to be flat out broke. Sigh. C'est la vie. Hopefully I can scrounge up some cash to buy Darkest Dungeon before the sale ends.
The only Pokemon that I would call uncreative is Electrode, who also happens to be my second most hated Pokemon. Voltorb makes sense. Pokeball sprites were used for items you find lying on the ground to conserve space, so they made a mimic Pokemon that looks like a Pokeball. I get it. But...

There's a lot of Pokemon that I think look pretty good unevolved, but the one that really takes the cake is Haunter. I mean, I do like Gengar, but Haunter just looks so much cooler, and it's not fair that I need to turn my spikey spook into a scary Clefairy for it to reach its full potential.
And here I am. With Peyero. The Fire type. Against a Bug type trainer. I love you Peyero, but WHY ON EARTH DOES A BUG TYPE LEADER USE SO MANY ROCK TYPE MOVES!?!? Sigh.
Well, one is hiding behind one of the buildings in a way that makes it to where you can't see them, and another one decided to be a cheater and hide over in Rustburough. Happy hunting.
In regards to the Turtonator sprite, I have to agree that the tail is fine. I hold every sprite I see to massively high standards, and leparagon has almost never disappointed me. Personally, I think that the tail looks better that way. I understand that everyone has a different opinion on what...
