Lyra Waterflower

My name's Lyra. I'm a bit eccentric, timid, but unbelievably random once I warm up to you. I'd babble about this and that and most likely not run out of things to say. I love to read. Words are just so beautiful, and I love drowning myself in the fantasy of the characters' world. I write, sometimes, but as much as plot bunnies love attacking me, I'm usually too lazy to write them down. I love singing, too. Not saying I'm a great singer, but I don't think I'm half bad. I randomly sing lines that pop into my head anytime I feel like it, and I'd sing my heart out when I'm alone. Sing-alongs are a rare occasion with me, but I love it when I could sing aloud with a bunch of other people, horribly or not. It's fun.

I'm a wanderlust. I dream of travelling the world, and I hope when the day comes, there would still be much to see. People say I'm smart, but I'd rather say I'm wise. No, I'm not being arrogant or anything; it's just that I understand more things than most people my age. I suppose it's a writer/reader thing. It happens when you read too much.

Oh, and of course, I love Pokémon. That's why I'm here, right? Pokémon's just so amazing. On first glance, it'd look like it's all about battling and all that nonsense [I used to think that, too], but I realized there's more than that. I've never read the manga, since I don't really read those kinds of stuff, but I've watched the anime [though I haven't finished it yet; sob] and I can't say how many times it touched my heart to the point I actually cried in a lot of episodes. The lessons were beautiful - not totally forced but the message would hit you hard. The friendships were so strong, they blow me away. And I find myself wishing, more than I'd like to admit, that I live in their world. Their world was beautiful, the skies and seas had beautiful shades of blue, the surroundings were so green and there was peace. There are the bad guys, of course, but not to the point where you have to watch your back everywhere you go. There, you can travel the world with your friends with Pokémon and you can start following your dreams as early as the age of ten. I want that.

Anyway. I'm ten times more sociable online than in real life, so don't feel shy sending me a message. I'm more than enthusiastic meeting new people.
