I'm interested to hear everyone's fastest time that they beat our childhood game, or maybe you still have your file from when you were a kid and if so how many hours have you raked on to it? My Red Version no longer saves (I don't feel like opening it and risk damaging something to swap the...
There's actually a glitch where the switch can end up not even being around your trash can in Red and Blue. It's only annoying since it's based on luck, I stick to my guns and whenever possible if I find the 1st switch I find that the 2nd switch follows Nintendo Logic and is in a trash can I...
Red Blue and Yellow: Metapod&Kakuna, I guess I get that they're there cause your journey is just starting but the fact that all they know is harden is dumb.
Gold Silver and Crystal: Qwuilfish Girafarig or Stantler, they're both just so obscure I've never even used one they just collect dust in...
I'm not sure if that means that they're completely incompatible or not but sometimes you can have a very unlucky streak with breeding. Sorry I couldn't be more help but your method sounds right to me.
Very good hypothesis. Even if we don't get a Pokemon based on Missingno. maybe they could have a random NPC in one of the later games hint at him? Pokemon has broke the 4th wall before, there's not reason why they couldn't with this either.
I never had much trouble with moves like this in Gen 1. When I did I assume it's because I was little and didn't understand what was going on. Either way the only time it's really a problem is when you're first starting out and even then a lot of Pokemon get the move Quick Attack.
I feel like Raikou doesn't get enough love, so that's who I'm going to pick. Entai is like Flareon in my eyes but Suicune is still pretty cool on it's own but I think it got some attention in the anime if I remember correctly.
I did deposit Pikachu into the PC a few times but never released it. I couldn't do that, I never usually traded so I didn't care about the Raichu part and Pikachu could always hold his own pretty well. Not to mention one of the game's mechanics is centered around him and he's Yellow Version's...
Very much worth playing in my opinion. You could do the originals or FireRed and LeafGreen. Yellow is a pretty cool and unique version in itself too although it's very over-powered with the Pokemon you can get ha.
The Missingno. glitch was always really cool to me, my friends would abuse it so much. I never did though because I'm lame and wanted to play "honestly". Ha.
While we're on the subject on Cinnabar Island if you Surf on that ledge sometimes the old man in front of the Gym will be standing on...
I'm going to have to go with Mew. Not for stats reasons or anything like that but just because it took me so long to get one and I've never even really used it. To me it just holds a soft spot in the first movie for me I guess but even so, Mew is a heck of a lot cuter than Mewtwo.
(No my name...
My first game was Pokemon Blue version but at some point in time I have had a copy of all the American versions of the games pass through my hands at some point. My parents actually bought my Crystal version but I was still young even after having it for a year or so and sold it in order to save...
I've always been very partial to the grass starters no matter how much flack they seem to get. I always loved Bulbasaur, it was my first choice and still is to this day whenever I revisit Kanto so naturally I went with Chikorita as well. Although it struggles a lot with the start of the game it...
