I believe Beast Boost deserves consideration, being ridiculous on sweepers but still having some utility on more defensive Pokémon. Whether it is as good as the likes of Magic Guard and Magic Bounce, I am not sure.

I wonder if I should take the lack of replies to mean that the team is fine, that the team is too awful and specific to be improved without rebuilding it entirely, that there is no interest in teams outside Smogon systems, or that the team is simply boring.

I love all three, but for fully evolved it has to be Infernape for me, as it is my favourite in the franchise. However, looking only at first stages, Turtwig just barely edges out Piplup and Chimchar.

It would heavily detract from the immersion of raising and training Pokémon, reducing it even further to just 'a numbers game'.
