If your using pokemon red, theres actually a tm cut. so with that you can have both. In anything else, just edit the hm cut text to slash and edit the move to be identical to the slash attack and properties.

Im working on a smallish pokemon red hack, i saw with the universal randomizer that i can disable saving *im assuming from the menu only. Can someone enable saving from the pokemon center only? Also if mods can move this into a better category this is the only spot i could think of.

is this for fire red? get a tool and manually set it yourself, it wont take too long if you use bulbapedia as a guide.

From my experience messing with pokemon gold wild encounters, making a pokemon 1% took me 99-100 battles to finally encounter the pokemon. So if your going to do that, give those to the legendaries and only in specific places. I'd keep 5% for the rares but dont give every route/map a 5% rare so...
