I really liked the Distortion World. I thought it added an extra dimension (no pun intended) to the storyline; it gave Giratina a purpose other than being seemingly tacked on like it was in D/P. I mean they even gave Heatran that little side quest about the Magma Stone before you caught it...

I used them more in SS than I did in the original Silver, mostly because you could use them for the ApriJuice in the Pokeathlon. However, still used them for Pokeballs on occasion, esp for Lure Balls.

In Gen 1, always liked Scyther, Nidoking and Blastoise. Gen 2, Cyndaquil, Scizor, Umbreon, Donphan, and Lugia.

For me, it's always been Lugia. He just always so awesome. It doesn't help that the first Pokemon movie I remember seeing was 2000, and that my very first video game (period) was Silver.

Other than the Red Gyarados, the only shiny I ever caught in G/S/C was a shiny Ratatta, which I evolved into a Raticate. Lost it along with most of the rest of my Pokemon when the internal battery died.
