the only up to date recent one is in the hexmaniacadvance discord server but it's only got gen 7 you have to mainly add 8 and 9 pokemon

So it is not recommended to use hma with pge and such so it's recommended if you go the binary route just use hma if so there is a emerald rom base compatible with hma in the discord the fairy script only adds the type and update the pokemon who later gain that type no moves are added

I totally agree the entry into this side of hacking can seem tedious and difficult to understand but binary hacking gb/gbc games are almost impossible due to heavy compression hence no newer tools have been developed

If you are using the the patch in the main post you need to expand it in xse or if you are using the unofficial no expansion needed but you need a trashman rom

There is a way to expand that stuff but It uses python scripts and stuff but no tools are available like there is for fire red such as pge just google it s thread on here should pop up
