I need to learn how to re-point a text which is extremely important for me. All I need to know is that very basic and simple thing. I also have a pointer-calculation program for this. I'm very desperate at this moment and need an immediate answer. Any attemp to help will be appreciated.

Now, I managed to find a pointer-calculation program for TCG, however I cannot turn offsets into pointers because I don't even know what a pointer is. Are there anyone who can explain it more clearly?
