I chose charmander all the times I played FR/LF. Despite it's super mainstream, I really enjoy it's desing and all of it's evos. Charizard is specially pretty IMO. I still want to use bulbasaur, so I guess my next FR/LG run will be with it as starter.

Lugia <3 It's so beautiful and aquatic and can fly at the same time. It's perfect for me, who likes water and air, and it also has a combo with it's psychic typing so it's it all the way in. Ho-oh is pretty too!

Mew because it's the original. It was also the first pokemon to be registered, and this match up with it's myth. Also, mewtwo can have better stats, but mew is a much more versatile pokemon.
