Tool: HackMew's Tools Factory [A-Ptch released]

A-Trainer's working fine now. HackMew came up with the solution to my problem. Simply enough, Vista users have to go to Personalize - Adjust Font Size (DPI) and make it the smaller one. :) (This is saying it was on the larger font in the first place)

XSE comes with a nice tutorial that makes getting started quite easy. If that's not enough, you could try looking in the Documents and Tutorials section.

    Sierra's MEGA-HUGE XSE Scripting Tutorial

....Yeeah... Anyway, I was wondering. I didn't see this in the tutorial, but maybe I just read over it on accident. However, how would one go about allowing the player to use an HM? Like, after a battle. Or just in general, really.

Tool: YAPE (Yet Another Pokemon Editor)

So, does this not work with Windows Vista 64-bit edition?

Tool: HackMew's Tools Factory [A-Ptch released]

I've tried using the original, clean ROM. As well as, downloading new Fire Red ROMs to see if it was just the original. (about 3 or 4 different site sources) All this to no prevail, it still gives me the error. (EDIT) This is also why I think something weird is going on, as well. I've tried it...

Tool: HackMew's Tools Factory [A-Ptch released]

I open FireRed with A-Trainer and nothing else. It's the moment it's opened that I get the popup. File - Open ROM... - Fire Red - "Run Time Error 9: Subscript out of range"

    In depth Advance Map tutorial

Does this make sense? Some of my warps don't seem to work. An example: You know the hole you use for caves that you walk into enter the cave? Well, I can't come back out. The "Goto" works perfectly on Advanced Map, but when I walk on the warp, it doesn't work. Anyone know what's going on or...

    Sierra's MEGA-HUGE XSE Scripting Tutorial

Activating the pokedex requires a flag. For the national, it's a special. The flag for Pokedex, I think, is 0x829 and the special for national would be 0x1F3. I'm just about positive that all of this is in this tutorial, though.

    Sierra's MEGA-HUGE XSE Scripting Tutorial

I see... I was trying to make it a pokeball that'd disappear, as noticed. lol Thanks for the help. However, now it's an eevee and not a Breloom and it disappears. But, I still don't have the option to give it a nickname and I can continue to say "yes" over and over. In fact, I don't even have...

Tool: HackMew's Tools Factory [A-Ptch released]

Ah, sorry. Wasn't thinking. It's whenever I open the ROM with A-Trainer. After about a second, it gives the popup.

    Sierra's MEGA-HUGE XSE Scripting Tutorial

And here's yet another issue...xD My give pokemon code isn't working correctly. First, the nicknaming: it just keeps asking "Would you like to nickname EEVEE?" over and over until I say no. Also, it's not an eevee. I entered the number for eevee, and yet, it's giving me a Breloom. Also, I...

Tool: HackMew's Tools Factory [A-Ptch released]

Hello, when I use the A-Trainer, it gives me a "Sub-script is out of range" popup. I know this is probably just my ignorance and lack of knowledge on the issue, but is it possibly the need for the images of the pokemon and trainers? If so, how do I go about 'adding' those. If not, what could...

    Sierra's MEGA-HUGE XSE Scripting Tutorial

(EDIT) The problem persists, but I think it may have something to do with the release/end commands. You see, the game freezes, but not the music. (I didn't notice this before because I usually have it muted) So, are any problems apparent with the way I used release/end etc.?

    Sierra's MEGA-HUGE XSE Scripting Tutorial

I think I see...and that's what I thought was probably going to be the problem. But, with that, I'm slightly confused. The man's number is 00, because he's the only person on the map. Does that mean I should put 01 not 00?
