The Pokemon anime at times is unbearable, due to the fact it breaks the Pokemon game laws, but usually it is fine. Also in the older episodes the translation is more saddeningly bad. My favourite Pokemon is Swanna, due to it being close to a goose, and the runner-up to that is the Murkrow line.
