dude I played the game with Infernape and I pwned Cyrus with it XD , the bad/good stats thing is when you look pokemon skills, and all there things are very low/low/high/very high.

dude, lvl your starter to lvl 57 and have it have the following moves Close Combat, Flamethrower or Flame Wheel, Fire Blast, Flare Blitz or Mach Punch. if you have you starter at lvl 57 or higher and have these moves you can pwn cyrus, the last gym leader, and the frist E4 dude XD
