Emerald hack: Pokemon R.O.W.E. - an Open World Version of Pokémon Emerald(Gen 8, Following Pokémon, Costumes and much More)

You really think this was worth posting? Nothing about this comment was constructive. ROM hacks are passion projects and the creator is free to allocate as much or as little time to it as they desire. So even there wasn't a 2.0 at all we have no right to complain. If you have suggestions you...

FireRed hack: Pokemon Inflamed Red (Current Version: v1.0.5)

Viridian Mart has Pokeballs. Pewter and Cerulean also sell Pokeballs, but they are not sold at the mart. Go to the Pokemon Centre, a person on the left of the nurse sells them. Since you're at Cerulean, and can't proceed before beating the 2nd Gym, you should buy them from the Pokemon Centre.

Emerald hack: Pokémon Inclement Emerald: A Decomp Difficulty Hack [Version 1.13]

That reworked Normalise looks very interesting. The prospect of being able to build a team around one of the most underwhelming Pokemon of all time is very exciting to me. The first synergy that comes to mind is pairing it in doubles with users of Body Press like Avalugg or Cotton Guard Furfrou...

Emerald hack: Pokemon R.O.W.E. - an Open World Version of Pokémon Emerald(Gen 8, Following Pokémon, Costumes and much More)

Yes, I know that you don't need badges for any of the other HMs (as well as Dig, which is a TM) and they seem to work with any Pokemon capable of learning them, even if it doesn't have it in its moveset. But Flash seems to be the exception. As I already said, the Volbeat already knows Flash...

Emerald hack: Pokemon R.O.W.E. - an Open World Version of Pokémon Emerald(Gen 8, Following Pokémon, Costumes and much More)

How many badges do you need to use flash out in the overworld? It seems pretty buggy, since after I beat the Dewford Gym, its leader explicitly stated that I should be able to use flash in the overworld (a holdover from vanilla Emerald, I assume). But my Volbeat with Flash still can't use it in...

Emerald hack: Pokémon Inclement Emerald: A Decomp Difficulty Hack [Version 1.13]

Can someone please share a list of what tutor moves are unlocked after each badge? I didn't find anything in the included documentation, and then I snooped around in the source on GitHub and found the tutor_learnsets.h file which let's me know which tutor moves are available and the flags tell...

Emerald hack: Pokémon Inclement Emerald: A Decomp Difficulty Hack [Version 1.13]

On singles this shouldn't be that OP, especially since you also give up the ability to hit for super-effective, which is a huge asset in-game, since you know what a gym leaders type weaknesses are and can exploit them easily, and also since choice items are obtained much later in the game...

Emerald hack: Pokémon Inclement Emerald: A Decomp Difficulty Hack [Version 1.13]

Yeah, plus its other gimmick is using moves that call other moves, like Assist and Copycat. This ability can give STAB to such moves and make them slightly more viable by ignoring resistances. You can even give it Me First, which, combined with decent mixed attacking stats and good speed would...

Emerald hack: Pokémon Inclement Emerald: A Decomp Difficulty Hack [Version 1.13]

Maybe a good upgrade for Delcatty would be if along with making every move Normal, Normalize also made Normal Type attacks ignore type resistances/immunities, perhaps instead of the 20% damage increase that Game Freak shoehorned into it later (otherwise it's way too many effects crammed into one...

Emerald hack: Pokémon Inclement Emerald: A Decomp Difficulty Hack [Version 1.13]

Even in the original 3DS/Switch games Metronome only boosts damage of moves used in successive turns. Multi hit moves hit multiple times in the same turn so those don't benefit any more than single hit moves. If it doesn't ramp up damage at all even in successive turns, that would be a bug. But...

Emerald hack: Pokémon Inclement Emerald: A Decomp Difficulty Hack [Version 1.13]

I just downloaded the file and was reading all the Pokemon, move and ability changes cause I'm a nerd to theorycraft my team, and then I was hit with Delcatty entry and the Wailord sprite. And just then, even before applying the patch, this just became one of my favorite ROM hacks.

    FireRed hack: Pokemon, Instant-death edition {Can also be named Su*cide edition}

So just using slow and defensive mons and just switching between them wins you pretty much every battle?

Emerald hack: Pokemon R.O.W.E. - an Open World Version of Pokémon Emerald(Gen 8, Following Pokémon, Costumes and much More)

Ok, so the learnset for Flash (as a field move) is seems very weird to me. I couldn't find anything about it in the documentation, but from playing it what it seemed to me is that you've made every Fairy type Pokemon be able to use Flash, and nothing other than Fairy types can use it. But this...

Emerald hack: Pokemon R.O.W.E. - an Open World Version of Pokémon Emerald(Gen 8, Following Pokémon, Costumes and much More)

Seems like the Egg Move Tutor (6+gyms) can't teach Tail Slap, Covet, Quick Guard, Bounce and Switcheroo to Aipom or Ambipom (Level 45). Some egg moves like Agility and Screech are listed twice, and those 5 are missing from the list. Not having Tail Slap in particular is a bummer since it's...

Emerald hack: Pokemon R.O.W.E. - an Open World Version of Pokémon Emerald(Gen 8, Following Pokémon, Costumes and much More)

Oh, I see. That makes so much more sense. I think a same kind of issue is there with Star Pieces as well, those sell for 4900 but it says 490 instead.
