well in my case it doesn't really matter since I end up dumping them in the deposit box and changing my team every nw and then. But most of the times I started a new game I chose the fire type pokemon since they always seem to be more offensivly orientated.

A friend of mine caught one and the verry moment he did he started breeding it like mad and he also gave me a calm one in exchange for my shiny tentacruel ^_^ Now my milotic is probably my most reliable pokemon :D

I wish i could vote for more than one. I belive I had the most fun playing the old red/blue versions. It all seemed new and original :p I also loved many things from the crystal versons such as the animation for pokemon :) As for the newest games I prefer emerald only because of the battle frontier.

It seems verry familiar. I think there was a game verry much like this one but it got closed down. So I'm not wasting my time with online pokemon rpg's if the nintendo lawyers keep crashing in O_o

I really think you shoudl play it since it has a great storyline and it may even cause strong emotions to pop out if you have a soft spot for happy crying pokemon :D
