I remember buying a One Piece manga I bought for my bday that was a football sized scam my eleven year old brain failed to realize. At the time, I didn't even like One Piece I just thought the cover looked cool but everything else inside had no pirates, apparently they have these things called 'Pokeymans' and a boy named after the color blood on a quest to stop NASA from committing animal abuse with the help of the color spectrum and the crystal gems. Ever since then, I've been sucking up all the Pokémon merch. And that's how I was introduced to Pokémon!
