The new style looks great! It's a great impromevent. If I may add just a piece of advice: Try to make the outlines of the buildings the same color, as usually buildings stand out, the blue houses kind of fade away in the nature around it.

Hurricane sounds awesome as a HM, now that you mentioned Golden Sun. And since the starter is a Shinx, it would be easier for the player to win against a Ghost type gym leader, so I say, go for the Ghost-type gym.

I can't wait to see more of this project! I really like the subtle palette change to the mansion/library tiles - it makes them pop out a bit more. I guess Hurricane will propel the player upwards, to reach certain places?

I don't really know why, but when I open the Rom in Advance map and want to edit any interior map except for the gyms and centers, I get a "restricted access" error. When I try to go to the map in the actual game, the game crashes everytime.
