Thank you both for your responses.. I know it happened long ago, just im new so its new to me.. I know butterfree and primeape arent all that powerful, I just saw them as pokemon he had caught and gave away only 50 episodes in and without catching too many more.. but I understand it better now...

25 and gonna play my first game soon.. got hooked on the show few days ago.. maybe that counts? :)

I know i just started watching the show and Im at episode 50. Im curious about Ash.. seems the show made him not too bright or a horrible way of planning his future.. He's consistently behind the other trainers in pokemon collecting etc.. yet everytime he gets a good pokemon (or more Pokemon)...
