I think ill go for alpha saphire, because that was the one i had on my old GBA. If i really get into the game i might get the other one aswell.

My first shiny was a golbat, you could say i freaked out hardtime! It was on pokemon diamond, and i had never seen a shiny before, but it made it up to my fave list for sure.

I got a shiny female lvl 23 Shellos through wonder trade. It also got a hasty nature. So thats my sixth shiny.

I got to admit that after carefully considering starting a new game i did yesterday, and i made a male toon, and named him Oliver. Mainly because i thought the kitty from Oliver and company was cute, + the name is a bit cute too, got a nice ring to it. :)

I enjoy Pokemon Y a lot, but i got to say that Soul Silver is still my favorite pokemon game.

I play as a female, coz i am female, and named her Nina. on my first playthrough i played as a male, coz i thought it looked a bit cooler (+ the male pratoganist usually has a bit cooler clothes)
