It died for me somewhere back around DP and above. And I just lost all interest in the movies. It just really went downhill, or it was always as bad and I just started recognizing the flaws and such as I got older.

-No more cheesy plot lines with every episode ending with another failed team rocket attempt. -More Action, deeper plot, more intense, less childish.... -Ash winning a league and actually progressing as a character -Kasumi coming back... forever.

Porygon. Poor little guy got a bad rap for giving kids seizures (it was Pikachu's fault by the way...) and it hasn't had an anime appearance since. I'd love to see how it would behave in a "real world" battle type scene. I bet it would be adorable too.

Chitoge Kirasaki FTW, yes I want a character similar to her in Pokemon.

I'm thinking he won't get a Honedge because the pokemon he gets usually have to look nice or appealing to kids.

To me, Pokemon has gotten worse ever since Misty left the show, IMO she was the best thing that happened in Pokemon. I'm not a fan of character replacement at all, but despite that, I still enjoyed AG and to some extent DP. I have many favourite characters as well.

I want a female sassy rival like me to be in the anime. I want her to insult Ash and hit him all the time. A Tsundere.

IMO Ash’s options for a Grass Type in XY are basically Phantump and Skiddo. This is just me but I feel like Skiddo, at least based off it’s design, is a species that has the jubilant energy that fits Ash’s motif and Skiddo IMO looks more battle oriented than Phantump.
