I don't know if this works for everyone, but expanding the Fire Red rom to 32MB using XSE before patching it with Nameless Fire Red gave me less bugs/glitches in general.

Yeah, that's what happened to me too when I forced it to patch.

I expanded the rom with XSE and then tried patching it with NUPS. Says that the file doesn't match. Don't know what else to do now.

How buggy is this game? I heard there was a major bug with trainers using items infinitely on a loop.

No. I played around with it more and seems like the issue (and a bunch of other glitches) only happens if you emulate this game on anything but Visual Boy Advance.

Seems like my game will crash whenever any of the first stage evo Gen 6 starters appear in battle (Frogadier, Quilladin, and Braixen). Or more specifically right during the time said pokemon gets their pokeball thrown.

Like everyone said. Nobody else has access to a 32MB rom of Emerald. Unless you mean that the new patch is supposed to be applied to the existing patched Theta Emerald EX rom that is already 32MB

I'm getting freeze ups whenever I switch in Combusken mid battle (he's fine if he you start the battle with him). Anyone else experiencing this?

So I've got that out of the way and now I'm adding those pokemon to wild encounters via Advance Map. My question is. Has special evolution methods been altered yet? Or do I need to modify those myself? There are pokemon that evolve by time, items, location but: 1) There is no day/night in Fire...

Can anyone tell me where all the Gen 4-6 pokemon are? I can't find any of them. EDIT: Finally checked with Advance Map. Outside of Shaymin being on the first route for whatever reason, there literally aren't any Gen 4 onwards pokemon in the wild anywhere. You'd have to edit them yourself.
