I'm interested in EV training in pearl but am only at the first gym. When is too early? How can is it possible to train a "perfect" EV and trait based poke (not even IVS) if traits change everytime the poke evolves? Hos can I get a hold of a metagross and salamance?

Ok, well I guess now I just need to confirm the nature and EV's of my weezing and skarmony...right now I'm planning on defense, but I'm not sure. Speed may be important for skarmony, and attack may be important for weezing...

I think replacing giga drain and adding toxic is probably a good idea. I guess for my sixth pokemon I should choose a sweeper of some sort, maybe with eletric or fire attacks...Maybe a allakazam with fire punch? Or maybe a magneton to end any skarmony battles(I'm not sure on a moveset for this...
